Hyundai’s Micro SUV On The Horizon: Initial Debut Garners Attention

Hyundai was claimed to be ready for the Indian market for a wide variety of SUVs. This year, the latest Creta and Tucson facelift was unveiled. The Korean car manufacturer also uses a mini SUV which is situated underneath the site. Codenamed AX and based on the latest Santro design, the next iteration will be.

Hyundai is claimed by Korean media to begin AX micro SUV development on its Gwangju (South Korea) site in 2020. It will be a replacement for the previous Hyundai Atos series. Approximately 70,000 units of the AX Micro SUV are projected to be manufactured annually. The new Hyundai Santro is based on K1 architecture.

In the range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh, the next Hyundai AX micro SUV will have cost. The new model, like Maruti Ignis and Tata Tiago, will contend with the first-level hatchbacks. The compact SUV is powered by the 1,1-liter Hyundai Santro natural four cylinders, which can generate 68 bhp and a torque of 99Nm. The 5-speed manual and5-speed automatic control systems will include the transmission choices.

The updated i20 hatchback from Korea and the latest Creta compact Crossover in India will be launched by the Hyundai carmaker this year. The latest Creta will be unveiled on the Auto Expo 2020, but by mid-2020 it will become the updated i20 sedan. The new Creta SUV is fitted with 1.5-liter oil and petrol motors. The SUV will also supply the 1,4-liter turbo-loaded gasoline engine that also drives the Kia Altos.
