Exciting News: Hyundai Set to Introduce i20 N Line in India This Year

Hyundai has introduced the Alcazar 7-seater SUV to the Indian market. For the Indian market, the firm is preparing many new models, including a 7-seater MPV and a compact SUV dubbed AX1. Prior to the launch of these items, Hyundai will unveil the i20 N Line, India’s first N line vehicle.

The Hyundai i20 N Line has been observed testing on Indian roads several times. The new N Line is planned to debut over the holiday season, before Diwali 2021. In terms of appearance, the hatchback borrows from Hyundai’s N performance division. The hatchback’s front fascia is restyled with a new bumper, a darkened grille with a “chequered flag” design, and a bold N Line logo. It also receives a grey contrasting stripe on the skirtings.

The new Hyundai i20 N Line has a redesigned bumper, a triangular-shaped fog lamp, and a chromed twin-exist exhaust system at the back. In certain foreign markets, the hot hatch is already available in four colours: Phantom Black, Aurora Grey, Polar White, and Brass. The hatchback sits on 17-inch alloy wheels with a new dual-tone design.

The Hyundai i20 N Line’s interior is virtually identical to that of the current i20 hatchback, with the exception of certain sporty design features. N badging and sport front seats with contrasting red stitching, as well as a special N steering wheel, are included in the hatchback. Metal pedals and a N gear shift knob with red inlays will also be included.

It’s essentially a sportier version of the regular i20. A 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engine will power the vehicle. This three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 118bhp and torque of 172Nm. A 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed iMT might be available as transmission choices. In terms of suspension, engine responsiveness, and exhaust sound, the 2019 Hyundai i20 N Line is likely to be improved.
