Nissan Magnite Facelift Teased Ahead of Launch on October 4: What to Expect

Nissan India has teased the upcoming Nissan Magnite facelift, set to launch in India on October 4. This marks the first significant update for the Magnite since it was introduced in December 2020, and anticipation is building among car enthusiasts and potential buyers.

Fresh Design Elements

The teaser provides a sneak peek at some design updates for the Nissan Magnite. It reveals a revised grille that resembles the current model but may feature a new matte finish. Additionally, the facelift will come with redesigned LED taillights that boast updated internals. Previous teasers also highlighted a fresh six-spoke alloy wheel design, maintaining the existing 16-inch size.

Enhanced Features

The Nissan Magnite facelift is expected to bring several new features. A larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Geza variant may be included in the top-spec model, along with upgraded upholstery and possibly even a sunroof. Key features like the 7-inch digital display, wireless phone charger, and push-button start/stop will remain available.

Furthermore, the Nissan Magnite has recently been seen at the Bharat NCAP crash test facility, indicating that it will come with a new crash test rating, enhancing its safety credentials.

Engine Options

Under the hood, the engine choices for the Nissan Magnite facelift are likely to remain unchanged. The model will continue to offer a 72-hp 1.0-liter engine alongside a 100-hp 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. Buyers will have the option of a manual transmission for both engines, while the lower-spec powertrain will feature an AMT and the higher-spec engine will come equipped with a CVT.

The updated Nissan Magnite will continue to compete in the market against rivals such as the Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and the upcoming Skoda Kushaq. With its blend of features, performance, and style, the Nissan Magnite aims to make a strong impression in the new car segment.
