British luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin has unveiled the updated 2024 Vantage in India, marking the debut of the most powerful Vantage to date. Priced at ₹ 3.99 crore (ex-showroom) onwards, this high-performance sports car comes with significant upgrades in power, design, and technology. Deliveries of the new Aston Martin Vantage are set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Powertrain and Mechanics:
The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage replaces the previous V12 engine with a more potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This powertrain delivers an impressive 665 PS and 800 Nm of torque, representing a 30% increase in power and a 15% boost in torque compared to its predecessor. The V8 engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, enabling the Vantage to reach a top speed of 325 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
Aston Martin has also introduced a new launch control system in the Vantage, which optimizes torque distribution during acceleration. The system utilizes the E-Diff, ESP slip control, and engine torque management to maintain optimal wheel slip, ensuring a dynamic and controlled launch. Built on Aston Martin’s latest generation bonded aluminum construction, the Vantage boasts an enhanced body structure with additional underbody stiffening components that increase overall torsional rigidity.
The rear of the Vantage benefits from a 29% increase in stiffness under cornering loads, thanks to improved lateral strengthening between the rear suspension towers. The updated state-of-the-art dampers provide a 500% increase in force distribution control, allowing Aston Martin’s engineers to sharpen the Vantage’s handling dynamics to their finest edge.
The steering response and front-end grip have also been enhanced, with the Vantage now featuring Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires, specifically designed for this model. The car rides on 21-inch forged alloy wheels as standard, with Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) available as an optional upgrade.

The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage stands 30mm wider than its predecessor, with a muscular stance emphasized by a completely redesigned front end. The new front fascia features a 38% larger recontoured veined grille, adding both visual drama and aerodynamic efficiency. The front splitter is wider and lower, complementing the new Matrix LED headlamps with integrated DRLs and Aston Martin’s signature light design.
New frameless door mirrors and presenting door handles enhance the car’s sleek appearance, while larger quad exhaust tailpipes ensure the Vantage looks as powerful as it performs. The Vantage is available in 21 distinct colors, with options for pinstripes, lipstick accents, and rear infills to further customize the vehicle’s appearance.
Interior and Technology:
Inside, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is the second model to feature the brand’s next-generation infotainment system. The fully integrated multi-screen system offers full online connectivity and features a 10.25-inch touchscreen with capacitive single and multi-finger gesture control. The Vantage also comes standard with an Aston Martin 390-watt 11-speaker audio system.
The new Vantage’s navigation system includes online connectivity, and key functions such as gear selection, drive mode selection, and climate control can be easily managed through manual buttons.
