Excitement is building around the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, as recent spy shots offer a sneak peek into this upcoming electric SUV. While the vehicle remains largely camouflaged, several key design elements and features have become visible.

Design and Exterior Highlights

The spy photos reveal that the XUV 3XO EV will feature prominent C-shaped LED daytime running lights, along with a section of its front grille. These elements are expected to differentiate the electric model from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. The XUV 3XO EV will likely include minor design changes such as restyled bumpers and a revised grille. Unique badging will also be present to signify its electric nature. Additionally, the SUV will sport new alloy wheels that might include plastic insets designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency and overall performance.

Positioning and Dimensions

The XUV 3XO EV will sit below the XUV400 in Mahindra’s lineup of electric vehicles. Positioned in the sub-4-meter category, the XUV 3XO EV will share similar dimensions with its ICE version, making it approximately 200mm shorter in length than the XUV400. This reduction in size will also result in slightly less boot space compared to its larger sibling, the XUV400.

Specifications and Pricing

Under the hood, the XUV 3XO EV is expected to feature a 35 kWh battery, which is smaller compared to the 40 kWh battery found in the XUV400 EV. While specific details on the range and the electric motor’s performance are still under wraps, the XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to be more affordable than the XUV400. It is expected to be priced about Rs 2 lakh lower than the XUV400, which is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 19.39 lakh. For comparison, the Tata Nexon EV is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh.

As we await further details, the XUV 3XO EV is poised to attract interest for its competitive pricing and practical features within the compact electric SUV segment.
